It is however important to invest in the right structure for your needs. At POWERDECK we realise that the space beneath the floor is as important as that at first floor level. Most competitors offer a column grid of 3m x 3m that is prohibitive if you are intending to use fork lift trucks. Cross bracing also cuts down the usability of space.

POWERDECK mezzanine floors incorporate the, SWAGEBEAM secondary purlin inset into the main beam. This gives added strength to the floor and enables us to achieve larger spans without the use of cross bracing.

Reduce the BOUNCE effect with a POWERDECK Mezzanine Floor. Be aware of the trampoline effect of a ‘C' section or oversail floor. The stability offered by a formed purlin ensures a rock solid structure. Nobody would know that they are working on a fully demountable structure.

Our decking boards – manufactured by the market leader EGGER UK – have excellent strength and wear resistance. For high humidity areas there is the moisture resistant board or for areas of high traffic or where abrasion is likely the HDX Protect board will give an extended board life.
